NUME Beauty with Lucy & Evie (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a beauty salon based at 45 Windermere Road, Barnsley, S71 1EG. We operate the website at numebeauty.vercel.app.

When you make a booking through our website, we collect:

To fulfil your booking

We use your name, contact details and appointment information to confirm, manage and carry out your appointment.

To send you SMS confirmations

We use your phone number to send booking confirmation and reminder messages via Twilio.

To process your deposit payment

Payments are handled securely by Stripe. We do not store your card number, expiry or CVV. We only store the Stripe session reference.

We use booking data internally to manage schedules, track revenue and improve our services.

Who we share your data with

We only share your data with trusted third-party services required to operate our booking system:

  • ·Supabase — Secure database hosting for booking records (EU/UK servers)
  • ·Stripe — Payment processing — governed by Stripe's own privacy policy
  • ·Twilio — SMS confirmation messages — your phone number is used solely for this purpose
  • ·Vercel — Website hosting — no personal data is stored by Vercel beyond standard server logs

We do not sell, rent or share your data with any third parties for marketing purposes.

How long we keep your data

We retain booking records for up to 3 years from the date of your appointment for business and accounting purposes. After this period, your data is permanently deleted.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • ·Request correction of any inaccurate data
  • ·Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
  • ·Object to or restrict how we process your data

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies that are necessary to provide our services. We do not use advertising, tracking, or analytics cookies of any kind.

Essential cookies — always on

These are strictly necessary for the site to function. They manage your session in the admin area and preserve temporary booking state across page navigation. They contain no personal data and are deleted when you close your browser or within 24 hours.

Payment processing cookies (Stripe)

When you pay a deposit or balance, you are redirected to a secure Stripe-hosted checkout page. Stripe sets cookies on their own domain (stripe.com) to prevent fraud and process your payment. We never see or store your card number, expiry date, or CVV. Stripe's use of cookies is governed by their own Privacy Policy.

You can manage your cookie preferences at any time using the Cookie Settings link in the footer. Choosing “Essential only” will not affect your ability to browse the site or make a booking.
